Amazing week at the Flamingo

We were a family of 4 and have just arrived home after another fantastic week at the flamingo oasis. This hotel never disappoints the food choice was very good. And we were very impressed with the evening entertainment. All activities day and night ran to time and the staff give you 100. We can’t wait for our next visit

Stay at theOasis

Requested an accessible room but given a standard room 2317. The shower had no rails or supports in it and my wife could not use it. The floor of the shower tray was very slippery when wet and Dangerous. There was no shower mat. I stopped using the shower as I nearly slipped a few times . It needs to be fixed and made safe. Thee food was adequate but not too apertsing. The roast meats were hacked at in lumps by the server. Very few slices. Trying in slicing meat would be worthwhile.

Hi William, Thank you for taking the time to share your views with us. There are unfortunately only 1 room on each Club floor with walk-in showers, all the others have baths. Daughters birthday celebration s

Booked 3 club rooms and well worth paying the bit extra. Hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean,staff lovely . Entertainment not great so we went to bars opposite hotel. Noise from builders did not bother us at all but then we were on 21st floor.

Bastante bien

Era nuestra segunda vez en este hotel la primera nos tocó un piso alto y bueno bien los ruidos en la segunda estábamos en la 602 y 603 y el ruido de los compresores del hotel Meliá de enfrente eran tela marinera lo demás habitaciones personal comida bastante bien deberían plantearse insonorizar las habitaciones que den a esos compresores en el silencio de la noche es una locura lo demás bastante bien

Genial!!!

Nos ha encantado el hotel lo hemos pasado muy bien todo el personal súper agradable te hacen sentir muy bien muy bonito todo el hotel las habitaciones muy cómodas sin duda volveré.solo una cosa negativa la limpieza de la habitación habían barrido solo a medias habías restos de una naranja en el baño y al retirar uno de los sofás para que no se calleran las niñas debajo de el sofá había mucha suciedad e incluso un juguete de un huésped anterior .al tercer día cuando hicieron la habitación nos dejaron un bóxer que no era nuestro debieron encontrarlo debajo de la cama por lo tanto creo que la limpieza es un pelin escasa

Perfecta estancia

Todo ha sido genial y lo hemos disfrutado muchas gracias por la atención recibida Si me permiten un pequeño comentario les diré que el horario final de la piscina cubierta 17.00 h. al ir con nuestra nieta en mi opinión es un poco temprano seria estupendo que fuera a las 19.00 h. Muchas gracias volveremos seguro

Entertainment has got worse

This hotel is a shadow of its former glory. I have been coming to this hotel for over 12 years and I am debating whether I will continue to. The entertainment is appalling, it is so bad that it is not even advertised outside the piano bar anymore The person responsible has nothing but utter contempt for the guests if he continues to think he is offering a broad selection of entertainment. A quiz and a game show or bingo is not entertainment and the acts that are bought sometimes fail to live up to expectation. Saturday is a huge change over day at the hotel and there is no entertainment in the piano bar. The food also needs sorting, it is still cold, food is no longer replaced quickly and once the advertised meat on the carvery has gone, out comes the slippy am with an orange skin. The current chef who carves the meat is incapable and produces large wedges of meat that you cannot chew. When you ask for it to be cut thinner, it is clear that the ability to do this is not there or its too much effort. I also think that leaving a huge knife unattended by the carvery section is very dangerous. The old system of having it manned constantly is better as it does not dry up and can be cut to customer tastes. The selection of hams and pate only turn up on the gala night, if you can still call it that as the drink is no longer offered. I also upgraded to the gold wrist band and had to ask for the safe for the room and ask about the premium snacks. This should not be plural, as the upgraded snack was a choice of three options , of which you can have one and it is clear the staff are unhappy about it. It took 2 days to be offered the snacks and that was after I pointed this out. Vaping is not tackled in the hotel and I witnessed lots vaping at their seats in all the venues. There was also a very unpleasant incident where my daughter witnessed a man walking round, later in the night, in reception with no pants on, this in my opinion is indecent exposure. Sadly, overall the quality of food and the poor entertainment is ruining this hotel which holds so many good memories. I think the cost cutting exercises will affect the type of client the hotel wants to attract.

Lowered standards

As regular guests at the Flamingo Oasis we feel disappointed that standards post covid have lowered significantly. We stayed at Christmas and werent happy but thought we would give it one last chance. The entertainment is clearly done on a shoestring budget, the piano bar often has no entertainment unlike what it used to be. Food is repetitive and the stew curry type meals it seems are made up using leftover meats from previous meals. The ice cream scoops left in filthy water need to, you need to revert back to the individual pots. The current system is incredible unhygienic. The staff are very hard working and on the whole very pleasant. We paid extra for premium all inclusive and felt like we had to beg for everything that we should have had eg free safety deposit box and better snack choice, we also had to ask for premium spirits even though staff could see our gold wrist bands. Rooms are spacious and clean but beds very hard. The building work from 3 different locations was not pleasant, as it started around 7am until 7pm. This was not a budget holiday, so unfortunately we will be seeking an alternative for our next visit.

Returning customer

I have been to this hotel lots times now with my family. The food is always good and staff lovely, entertainment team always works hard, receptionist nice and I always feel safe at this hotel. However my back was not best as the mattress need to been changed now as every spring felt like it was digging in my back. I lends sup sleeping in sofa. Only negative thing Inhave say. Will return as always enjoy our stays
