Excellent hotel
Booked at short notice, staff very professional and helpful, with Alvero on reception desk very, very helpful. Booked b&b, great breakfast choice, comfortable rooms and nice quiet areas to sit and relax. Solo traveler due to a family emergency. Would definitely stay here again. Many thanks.

Most Enjoyable and Comfortable
We arrived on 23 Oct for yet another holiday at Flamingo Oasis, staying for 10 days. We booked the holiday through MedPlaya Amigo and have already achieved Soul Mate Status of which we are proud. The hotel remains to be comfortable spacious, rooms cleaned thoroughly, the communal areas being immaculate! All the staff are cheerful and helpful, even the hard working restaurant staff. The entertainment is what it is some performances being better than others, but what I can’t understand is the Piano Bar being short of guests every evening… All or most of the staff are the same, so obviously they are happy working at The Flamingo. Our very early start home was at 02.30 on Sunday morning 2 November and what a lovely surprise I got, the night time receptionist, I recognised by his distinctive geordie dialect it was ‘MICHAEL’ whom I nickname the Flamingos Spanish Geordie, how wonderful,it was to see him again as it’s been quite a few years, he’s delightful. I am now mentioning the best Guest Relation a hotel can have and that’s the lovely ‘Frida’ she will do anything she can to help, she listens, advises and MedPlaya are very lucky to have her she’s an absolute treasure!! Food, mmmmm slight improvement since April, but please bring back the tuna on the salad bar, or even sardines. The carverys are good, but, I fail,to understand why the meat can’t be carved in slices? most of the time it’s all dry and crumbly. Desserts are good but too much chocolate custard rather than ordinary custard. I think the dress code in the restaurant and bar areas Ned’s improving, staff should refuse to serve male guests without a shirt on, it is most disrespectful to staff serving these guests, and surprised it’s allowed. The majority of guests are respectful,of the hotel, but there are some who treat the staff like slaves and won’t do anything for themselves, children running wild in the lifts pressing buttons giving no thought to anyone. A please and thank you is simple 2 words only. Finally, as we’ve been having the gold bands for a few times now, and this was our last treat for earning Amigo rewards. As you know from 1 January they are no longer applied, this is a MedPlaya decision not Flamingo Oasis as an hotel. Amigo soul mates now have a 15 off as an incentive and thank you. We are a party of 3 adults including a mature son who is autistic and has a shared room with ourselves. Not having the gold bands now gives us a standard level of service, no replenished fridge, free safe and a late bar. We cannot increase OUR level of service to CLUB, because there is no accommodation for 3 adults which I consider unfair and discrimatory, whereas, other previous gold bands of 2 persons can upgrade, we can’t go anywhere in terms of points as 15 off a booking doesn’t give the added welcome service on arrival, and what is the point of accumulating points? Thank you FLAMINGO OASIS for all our wonderful holidays, I honestly don’t know where we go from here… unless the hotel can allocate one or two rooms for 3 adults so we can upgrade, or an idea maybe given the privilidge of USING club facilities only, then we shall have have to think long and hard. In the meantime keep smiling everyone.

Great hotel
Been coming to this hotel for many years and all the staff are very welcoming. Its like home from home. Will be back in December.

Hotel correcto
Estuvimos 3 personas cinco días, hotel correcto si no eres muy exigente. La comida es repetitiva, pero las carnes y pescados al horno estaban sabrosas y el marisco de una de las noches fue muy correcto, el resto comida es para los ingleses que están alojados ,el 95. Así como la comida,la animación,si no entiendes el inglés disfruta de los cantantes porque dicen tres palabras en español. Uno de los problemas del hotel son los ascensores, son muy lentos y a veces esperabas más de diez minutos y si vas con personas con movilidad reducida se convierte en una tortura. Aún así volveré la calidad precio está bien y estos días lluviosos la piscina cubierta y el gimnasio han ayudado mucho a la estancia

Muy bien

Amazing stay
This is the 3rd time staying at the hotel and the first time staying club. Each time we have been it’s been amazing, great location. Very clean, super friendly staff. Will definitely be back

Perfect
We had a great holiday , a special mention to housekeeping on the 18th floor our room was left spotlessly clean every day, We enjoyed everything about the place, cant wait for our next visit with our grandchildren as the facilities and entertainment for the younger guests was really good, Food was varied lots of choice, all the staff we came into contact with where very friendly and helpful, I would have no problem recommending Med Playa Flamingo, will definitely be back, ????????????
