Great Hotel

As soon as you arrive you are welcomed with a cold drink, check in was a breeze, fantastic room ,sea view, food was outstanding, something for everyone, showcase cooking was very nice, the chefs were ALL very pleasant and you know they enjoyed their job, Waiting staff were very nice ,nothing too much trouble for them,pool bar was nice,little snacks etc, good spot SUNBEDS were taken by 7.45,think hotel should hand you a towel at 9 am when the pool is open, same old sad people claiming the beds,and not coming down to sit on them sometimes until 1 pm,only one day I could not get a sunbed but the beach is just outside the gate,would recommend this hotel for location,and value,will return very soon.

Honeymoon

We recently returned from a stay at this hotel. Upon arrival was very pleasantly surprised with the bottle of champayne and fresh fruit supplied in the room complimentary of the hotel. This hotel lived up to all our expectations. The maid who didnt speak English managed to convey requests very clearly. We managed to communicate with ease. Reception was very polite and helpful. The food was outstanding. Great selection every morningevening. Cant comment on evening entertainment as we choose to go out every night. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would be very happy to stay here again.

An excellent hotel

I booked the hotel online and travelled separately from a package deal. The booking process was good. I needed to book a mobility scooter for my wife and found the hotel a great assistance. They booked the scooter for us and arranged its delivery to the hotel. The hotel has a room on the ground floor where the scooter can sit and has easy access in and out of the hotel. Our booking in process was smooth. We paid extra for the larger room and our room was excellent. However some of the advertising is a little misleading. The advertised free mini bar is a mini fridge, you supply the contents. The champagne on arrival was a glass of portsherry. The room was clean and well presented. Everything worked and the view from our balcony was superb, across the bay to the marina and out to sea. The bed was perhaps a little too firm and was not overly comfortable. The shower was great. The room was cleaned daily. The lifts worked well and we never had to wait too long for one to arrive. The lift to the seafronty promenade was a god send. Food at both breakfast and evening meal was of a high standard with plenty of choices available. Service was also very good in the restaurant. We did not use the entertainment and only used the hotel bar once. We did find the bar to be expensive and so tended to speand our time in Benalmadena. However with the scooter and the location of the hotel this was not onorous. We went to Bonnaza Square one evening with the hotel calling the taxi for us. We would definately return as the overall experience was excellent as we did not need to worry about anything and relaxed for the entire stay.

Lovely holiday, Perfect Hotel !

The service from all the staff at Riviera was definitely first class. The restaurant staff were always attentive and provided an excellent service with a smile at all times. The room was exceptional and was cleaned to spotless everyday. We had a perfect holiday break and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel as highly as possible to others.

Paradise

We had the most amazing fantastic relaxing super chilled wonderful holiday all thanks to the staff at the hotel riviera we love it we will be back for our 5th year love the new roof top garden looks fantastic, we must say big thank you to Roberto who runs a fabulous restaurant always got a smile for you always polite and attentive as are all his staff, our lovely room cleaner whos name escapes us sorry was like last year amazing cheerful and obliging, and last but not least two very special people on reception firstly Fernando who made our holiday the best ever in our most longed for favorite room thanks, and secondly to a very special lady who made our holiday extra special in all the things she did for us a big thank you our lovely new friend Elena.

Great place to relax

Lovely hotel and staff, this is the ideal place to unwind....The location is perfect with just a few quiet restaurants and bars opposite. I picked this hotel as I was travelling solo and knew that I would feel comfortable here, the maids that clean the rooms were exceptional and very kind when I was taken unwell during my stay. I had a single room but while there was no balcony I had a fabulous sea view which more than made up for this.
